The History of Classic Slots
Posted by: | CommentsInventor Charles Fey created the first slot machine during 1895. The slots history continued when 10 years later, Fey and the Mills Novelty Company collaborated to develop the Mills Novelty Bell, which is the first version of both online slots and casino machines known and loved today. This was the very first step to the slots that are seen and enjoyed currently.
This classic slot machine had a cast iron cover along with a classic Liberty Bell that rang each time a player won. Modern day players also set off bells even with online slots. The reel strips on the machine showed the king, queen, and jack of a general playing card deck. In 1910, the Mills Novelty Company introduced the Operator Bell, which was a newer version of the Liberty Bell. This machine also featured the fruit symbols that became famous for all slots, including slots played online.
Changes to slots history continued from 1915 to 1930, which also affect the classic online slots played today. The cast iron slots, each weighing over 100 pounds, were too heavy. Mills made a lighter weight model using cheaper wood to construct the cabinets in 1915. The next revolutionary changes came about in 1930. First, the Mills Company made the slot machines much quieter, making this machine called the Silent Bell. A double jackpot feature was also added. This helped people to win twice in a fast play series.
The wood cabinets of these slot machines were re-decorated to make the games more alluring to players. This was an excellent idea which changed the world of slot machines, even affecting online slots. All of today’s slot machines are decorated with bright colours and designs that reach out and grab a potential player’s attention. Today’s themes are a more advanced version of the original designs, which had individual themes along with being very bright and colourful. Seen even today are throw backs to the initial lion’s head, castle and war eagle.
The ‘Luck’ in Classic Slots
Posted by: | Comments‘Luck’ is certainly a factor in any slots game, whether it’s regular or classic online slots. But many gamblers put too much emphasis on the importance of it (luck). There are many other factors in the equation of winning at the slots, even if they’re online slots, and many losers do not realise that this is the case. Most winners recognise this fact; and that’s one of the reasons why people call them ‘winners’.
To be a winner, when it comes to regular or online slots, you have to absorb as much information as you can when it comes to the game. Whether it’s slot tips, strategies, betting patterns, or whatever else, you should absorb it, so you can use it later to win. Most good, avid gamblers learn from their mistakes. And it’s true; experience is a huge part in winning at any kind of game in gambling. But don’t misplace experience with strategy, patience, or any other important slot tips.
A good gambler is someone who can combine everything he or she has been told, and make their own unique strategy that adheres to their playing style; whether it’s regular or online slots. This is how you can make real money, how you can always come away in the green, and not in the red, and how you can become, yourself, and avid gambler. You can practice some online slots for free, and substitute that for experience when it comes to the real thing, but one of the easiest ways to get better is to actually play the game.
You can almost play online slots anywhere these days, and if you want to quickly test your skills, you can just go ahead and try those. You’ll gain important experience, and in the end, you’ll become a better slots player, and ‘luck’ won’t have anything to do with that.
